,ברוך אתה יי אלהנו ,מלך העולם
אשר קדשנו במצותיו וצונו
.להדליק נר של שבת

Baruch ata Adonai
Elohenu melech haolam
Asher ki d’shanu b’mitz votav
V’tzi vanu l’ha d’lik ner shel Shabbat.


Praised are You,
Lord, our God,
King of the universe
Who has sanctified us by commanding us
To light the Shabbat candles.

For boys:
.ישמך אלהים כאפרים ןכמנשה
Y’sim kha Elohim k’Ephraim v khi Menashe.
May God bless you as He blessed Ephraim and Menashe.

For girls:
ישמך אלהים כשרה רבקה רחל ולאה
Y’simeyh Elohim k’Sarah, Rivka, Rachel, v’Leah.
May God bless you as He blessed Sarah, Rivka, Rachel and Leah.

For all:
.יברכך יי וישמרך
.יאר יי פניו אליך ויחנך
.ישא יי פניו אליך וישמ לך שלומ
